Appliance Installer and Delivery Driver

Salary: £26,000 – 28,000 (Depending on experience)

Job Description:

We’re looking for a motivated and reliable person to join our installation team as a product installer. You’ll be installing home appliances and TVs, working primarily on your own and occasionally as part of a two-person delivery crew (larger appliances) and driving a 3.5-tonne vehicle. In this role, you’ll have the unique opportunity to deliver our exceptional Max Electrical customer service directly to customers’ homes.

Key Responsibilities

Your day will begin at our Lutterworth warehouse before heading out on your delivery route. Duties include:

Loading your van with the day’s deliveries.
Installing washing machines, dishwashers, dryers, refrigeration TVs, etc efficiently, ensuring everything works perfectly and showing customers how to use their new products.
Representing Max Electrical as an ambassador, providing exceptional customer service.
Treating customers’ homes with care and handling unexpected situations professionally.
Keeping up to date with new products and technologies through online and face-to-face training.
Maintaining a safe working environment at all times.

Please note: This role does involve heavy lifting of large household appliances such as washing machines, fridge freezers, dishwashers, ovens, cookers, sound systems, and televisions.

Qualifications and Skills

Positive, can-do attitude with a passion for excellent customer service and problem solving
Good practical skills and knowledge of installation of washing machines/Dishwashers (full training will be provided)
Full UK driving licence (3.5T vehicle)
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling (Training provided)
Comfortable working on your own or as part of a 2-man delivery team
Ability to plan routing and use of Sat Nav to manage own time effectively

Based at our Lutterworth showroom and Lutterworth warehouse, delivering to customers across Leicestershire, Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, and surrounding areas.
